President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan celebrated the Easter holiday of Christian citizens with a published message. Erdoğan stated, "I once again congratulate all Christians, especially our Christian citizens, on their Easter holiday and convey my best wishes for their well-being."
In a written statement shared by the Presidency, Erdoğan included the following remarks:
"I congratulate our Christian citizens belonging to various churches and groups on their Easter holiday. As members of a civilization that centers on respect and love, we attach great importance to the ability of all our citizens, who have made Anatolia a land of peace for thousands of years, to freely live out their own religions, cultures, and traditions."
