Erdoğan and Putin to meet

Due to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality status and the UN declaring 2025 as the "International Year of Peace and Trust," the country is preparing to host a large-scale international forum. The International Forum on Peace and Trust, to be held in the capital, will bring together numerous heads of state and government.

ERDOĞAN'S PARTICIPATION WAS OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED

Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun had announced that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan would attend the forum. Altun also stated that Erdoğan is expected to hold meetings with the heads of state and government of the countries participating in the forum, as well as with the host, Turkmenistan.

TASS: PUTIN WILL ALSO BE AT THE FORUM

The Russian state news agency TASS announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin will also attend the forum. The report stated that the invitation for Putin was extended by the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

According to information provided by the Kremlin press service, Putin plans to hold "a series of bilateral meetings with foreign state leaders" within the scope of the forum.
