Erdoğan attacks CHP at airport opening: 'They are all having a blast in Paris'

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the opening ceremony of Çukurova Airport.

Erdoğan attacked CHP leader Özgür Özel, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, and Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş, who are following the 2024 Paris Olympics.

'WASTRELS WHO SQUANDER PUBLIC MONEY IN PARIS'

Erdoğan said the following:

"They are wastrels who squander the public's money in Paris. When it comes to paying debts to the SSI or serving the nation, there is no money in the treasury, but when it comes to having a blast in Paris as a whole group, there is no limit to the money. I leave the judgment of this to my dear nation."

İMAMOĞLU HAD REACTED

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu had said the following regarding the criticisms at the KİPTAŞ opening today:

"While we were there to promote and explain Istanbul, we were faced with slanders about what we were doing minute by minute here. These words have no validity. We were in Paris for 4 days...
