Erdoğan criticizes property tax increases

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in his speech at the Extended Provincial Heads Meeting, drew attention to the reactions coming from society regarding the recent increases in property taxes. Erdoğan stated that these increases are unacceptable and that they have a responsibility to protect the interests of the citizens.
Erdoğan said, "We are also obligated to look out for the benefit of the nation and to protect its interests. I always say it. We will not be those who are deceived, nor will we be those who deceive," noting that the increases in property taxes have received reactions from different segments of society.
