The fact that Erdoğan sent a gift to Putin was announced by the President's aide for international affairs, Yury Ushakov.
The Kremlin representative stated, "The Turkish President sent a gift specifically before yesterday's phone call."
Ushakov noted that it was a "beautiful Turkish gift." Furthermore, in response to a question about whether the gift was within the three-thousand-ruble limit permitted for public officials, Ushakov said that "the gift was a bit more expensive."
