During his visit to Rize last month, AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan encountered unappointed teachers. The dialogue that took place during this meeting received significant attention on social media. In the footage, in response to a teacher candidate's words, "All doors have been closed to us," Erdoğan replied, "Look, you are lying! My party's door is not closed to anyone!"

The teacher candidate replied, "No, we came, but we could not see you." Erdoğan then headed toward his vehicle.

REACTION FROM CHP WAS SWIFT

Following this incident, a quick reaction came from the CHP. CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır shared these moments on his social media account, stating, "Take exams for years, follow from city to city, try to explain your troubles... Then have someone stand before you and say 'you are lying.' This dialogue is the most concrete proof of how disconnected the government has become from reality! The issue is not the party door; it is the appointment door that has been closed to thousands of teachers! This cry and the response given to it is nothing but a picture of shame!"
