During the meeting, expectations from the international community regarding Israel's lawless attacks, proposals for resolving the humanitarian crisis, and efforts toward lasting peace were discussed.
AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan stated during the meeting that Israel continues to recklessly violate international law, the laws of war, and humanitarian law right before the eyes of the international community, and that it must be held accountable for the crimes committed before international law.
STATED IT WAS BENEFICIAL
AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan conveyed his condolences to Guterres for the more than 100 United Nations staff members who lost their lives in Israel's attacks on Gaza, and also said that Guterres' personal visit to the Rafah Border Crossing was beneficial in drawing the international community's attention to this point.
