Erdoğan holds talks with Somali President
AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan held a phone call with Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
According to a statement from the Directorate of Communications, AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan held a phone call with Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
The meeting addressed Turkey-Somalia relations, the fight against terrorism, and global and regional issues.
During the call, Erdoğan stated that Turkey stands with Somalia in its fight against terrorism and that cooperation between the two countries will continue to increase.
AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan also expressed that the concerning tension between Somalia and Ethiopia should be resolved on the basis of Somalia's territorial integrity.
