Erdoğan holds talks with Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone call with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.
During the meeting, Israel's attacks on Palestinians, the steps that need to be taken to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza, and efforts for a permanent ceasefire and lasting peace were discussed.
ISRAEL-PALESTINE ISSUE DISCUSSED
During the meeting, President Erdoğan stated that the stance displayed by the Spanish government against Israel's illegitimate attacks on Palestinians and its statements regarding the recognition of Palestine are valuable.
President Erdoğan stated that Turkey is ready to take on any responsibility, including acting as a guarantor, to ensure lasting peace in the region and to work together with Spain for regional peace.
