Erdoğan says 'Hey Israel!': 'We will continue to deploy all military means if necessary'

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made statements regarding the clashes between Israel and Hamas at his party's parliamentary group meeting.

"There is a weakness among a segment of our country to forget and try to make others forget the trials our nation has endured. In fact, this is a conscious and malicious tactic. We feel the pain of the earthquakes in our hearts with the same freshness as the first day. We believe it is impossible for anyone who has not lost their humanity to forget this pain. No matter what happens in politics, we will always keep this disaster at the top of our agenda. It is possible to see our determination in our 2024 budget.

THE RETIREE'S STRUGGLE IS OUR STRUGGLE

While taking these steps, we do not neglect to carry out work that will alleviate the difficulties of our people, especially our workers and retirees. We are in a struggle against inflation. Let our nation be assured that Turkey will neither compromise on its growth nor surrender to inflation. The issue of every brother and sister who produces, from the investor to the worker, is our issue. Indeed, we kept our promises regarding mobile phones, computers, and internet for our youth. LOCAL ELECTION STATEMENT

We need to enter the hearts of our nation. It is the primary duty of all of us to bring our municipalities that are suffering under the opposition together with real municipalism. Together with our partners in the People's Alliance, we will demonstrate this success once again. I believe that our parliamentary group will continue to be the locomotive of our party in local election efforts, just as it is in every other matter. If we do not keep the place where we started secure, we cannot correct the direction in which we are going. Acting only according to our own interests does not suit us. As Turkey has grown, we have grown; we will continue on our path in the same way. We will all work very hard until March 2024; are we ready for this?

"WE MAY COME SUDDENLY ONE NIGHT"

The fight against terrorism is another permanent agenda and our priority. Our heroic army continues to write epics within our borders and beyond. We are constantly developing and implementing our security concept based on eliminating terrorist threats at their source. We will crush the heads of terrorists with operations that we express as 'we may come suddenly one night'.

"WE HAVE NEVER APPROVED"

We have shown a principled approach from the very beginning against the oppression applied to the Palestinian people. First of all, we always looked through the window of humanity. We defended the ancient values that make a human being human. Since October 7, we have made every effort to prevent the crisis from growing. We sent 8 plane-loads of medical and humanitarian aid materials to the airport in Egypt to meet the needs of the people of Gaza. We dispatched 25 of our medical personnel to Egypt. We have clearly stated that we never excuse actions targeting civilians, including Israeli civilians, no matter who commits them. We have no problem with the State of Israel, but we have never approved, and will never approve, of the methods it applies and its style of acting like an organization rather than a state.

"HAMAS IS NOT A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION"

Since October 7, Israel has been carrying out the bloodiest, most disgusting, and most brutal attacks in history against innocent people in Gaza. They hold meetings; they came together again in their last meeting. The entire West sees Hamas as a terrorist organization. I am calling out from here; hey Israel, you might be an organization because the West owes you a lot, but Turkey owes you nothing. Hamas is not a terrorist organization; it is a liberation and mujahideen group struggling to protect its lands and citizens.

I shook the hand of the man called Netanyahu once in my life. At the Turkish House, in the USA. We had good intentions, he abused them. We had a project to go to Israel, it is cancelled, we will not go. We say to those who kill children, "Do not harm them, gentlemen." Hey Israel, you cannot get anywhere with this mindset. Take the US with you, take the West with you. As the Turkish nation, we are the only people who have not practiced and do not practice racism. We are the only geography and the only state where antisemitism has not emerged. Those who line up behind Israel to support the children it kills today cannot make such a statement. Including their rabbis. Recently, one of the rabbis says that Palestinian children should be killed. Is such an approach possible?

"I AM ANNOUNCING FROM HERE..."

We are watching with dismay the fascist faces of those who, when it comes to talk, do not leave democracy and pluralism to anyone. I want to state from here that the doors of our country are wide open to university students and all other segments who have fallen into trouble in the countries where they live precisely because of these honorable stances. In this picture, the tears shed for Israel by Western powers who close their eyes to the oppression in Gaza are nothing but the height of hypocrisy. The fact that those who stirred up the world for the losses in the war in Ukraine just yesterday have turned a deaf ear to the blatant massacre in Gaza is the most concrete expression of this hypocrisy.

AL-AQSA MOSQUE STATEMENT

Those who are the cause of the problem certainly do not want a solution; the deeper the crisis, the better it is for their interests. They want the Israel-Palestine issue to grow even more, and for peace and stability not to come to the region. This is exactly what we object to. We reject this order of exploitation for which all the peoples of the region pay the price. The Al-Aqsa Mosque is a common place of worship for Muslims, Christians, and Jews. ,

"A CEASEFIRE MUST BE DECLARED IMMEDIATELY"

As long as innocents continue to die in Gaza, no ship sent to our region and no show put on will bring peace. Israel must heed our call for peace. In a world full of the living dead, we, as a country and a nation, will continue to shout the truth and deploy all diplomatic and, if necessary, military means. The parties must take their fingers off the trigger. A ceasefire must be declared. Our call for peace must be heeded. Hostages must be released quickly. The Rafah border crossing must remain open continuously. Settler terrorism must also come to an end.

Turkey will never refrain from taking responsibility. Guaranteeing is the most consistent method. We invite them to take concrete steps. We are ready to be one of the guarantors of the Palestinian side. The guarantee we propose is the most concrete method.

We propose the organization of an 'International Palestine-Israel Peace Conference' in which all effective actors in the region will take part. We are ready to do everything, political, diplomatic, and if necessary, military."
