Erdoğan says 'we could enter Israel', receives swift response

AKP President Erdoğan responded to Yeniden Refah Party's Doğan Bekin by stating that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas had not responded positively to an invitation to address the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). Erdoğan also said, 'Just as we entered Karabakh, we could do the same to Israel.' Following this statement, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz compared Erdoğan to Saddam Hussein. AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik reacted to Katz by making a 'Nazi' comparison.

Erdoğan says 'we could enter Israel', receives swift response

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made statements at his party's Rize Provincial Organization Meeting. In his speech, Erdoğan targeted YRP's Doğan Bekin.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The Yeniden Refah Party had called for Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to be invited to address the TBMM. Erdoğan, however, stated, "Some political parties say, 'The government should invite the Palestinian President to Turkey and have him speak in Parliament.' Who says we didn't invite him?" and explained that Abbas had not responded positively to the offer.

Yeniden Refah Party Deputy Chairman and Istanbul MP Doğan Bekin had stated, "We expect TBMM Speaker Mr. Numan Kurtulmuş to invite the Palestinian President and US House of Representatives member Rashida Tlaib to the TBMM as guests of honor."

HE HAS EYES BUT DOES NOT SEE

Speaking at the Rize Provincial Organization Meeting, Erdoğan said without naming names, "They say Mahmoud Abbas should be allowed to speak in our Parliament. A name from Yeniden Refah, I think he has some mental issues. We already invited Mahmoud Abbas, but he did not give a positive response. From now on, we will take steps accordingly. While we are taking these steps, we are being hit from within. Who have we not opened this parliament to? We opened it to everyone on the path of righteousness. If a few people from your party entered parliament, it was thanks to us. He has eyes but does not see this," he said.

'JUST AS WE ENTERED KARABAKH...'

Erdoğan continued his speech as follows:

"Just as we entered Karabakh, just as we entered Libya, we could do the same to them. There is nothing to prevent us from doing so. We just need to be strong so that we can take these steps. If we are making these bold statements against Israel today, if we have cut off all trade and relations with them. One of them came out, excuse me, a rude person, saying Mahmoud Abbas should be allowed to speak in our parliament. Who is this? There is one guy from Yeniden Refah, I think he has some mental issues. Who told you we didn't invite Mahmoud Abbas? We invited him, but unfortunately, Mahmoud Abbas could not give us a positive response. We will manage the process from here on accordingly. While we are taking all these steps, unfortunately, we are being hit from within. Who have we not opened this parliament to? We open our parliament to everyone on the path of righteousness, by God. But they are unaware of these things. If a few people from your party entered parliament today, they entered thanks to us, see this. But he has eyes to the extent that he cannot see this, he does not see."

Following this statement by Erdoğan, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said that Erdoğan is following in the footsteps of Saddam Hussein.

Katz's post about Erdoğan is as follows:

RIZE MUST BE AN EXAMPLE

Addressing the AK Party Rize Provincial Organization, Erdoğan emphasized that Rize should be an example.

Stating that everyone living in Rize should move Rize to a different place in the coming period, Erdoğan said:

"A different voice must come from Rize. Whether it is the main branch, women's branches, or youth branches, they must raise this voice. Our municipalities must demonstrate work different from what it is. My brothers and sisters living in Rize should not be complaining about their municipality. For instance, there were some natural gas complaints yesterday and the day before. Our Minister of Energy and Natural Resources was with us regarding these natural gas complaints. They took their notes and are following up on those areas. Hopefully, we will resolve the natural gas problems as soon as possible. By our municipalities fulfilling all their duties, let us reach the place we should be in Rize as soon as possible."

NAZI RESPONSE TO KATZ FROM AKP'S ÇELİK

AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik responded to Katz via social media and said the following:

"Israeli Foreign Minister Katz, with the expressions he used towards our President who defends human values and peace, has not only overstepped his bounds but has revealed himself to be a complete Nazi. These attacks on our President are attacks by those who are enemies of human values, conscience, and dignity.

It is seen that Israeli Foreign Minister Katz is taking Hitler's Foreign Minister Ribbentrop as an example.

Hitler's Foreign Minister Ribbentrop was tried for 'deliberately inciting war, planning war crimes and crimes against humanity, and committing crimes against peace.'

We remind Katz that Ribbentrop is not a good example; the network with which he is committing crimes against humanity will be judged sooner or later...

The Israeli Foreign Minister is nothing more than a cog in a slaughter machine that is the modern-day representative of the Nazis.

The constant attacks on our President by Israel's Nazi-minded Foreign Minister and his likes are because they are uncomfortable with the policy our President follows in the name of human values and conscience. No matter what they do, they will not be able to cover up the brutality and genocidal policies of the government they belong to.

The members of this slaughter machine, who have written their names alongside massacres, genocide, murders, and Nazis, will definitely be held accountable before the law.

Our President has reached these days by overcoming the threats of many tyrants, and from now on, with the political stance he follows in the name of humanity and truth, he will send the threats of modern-day Nazis to the dustbin of history."
