Erdoğan shares 'our greatest goal' on the first morning of the Republic's second century!

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared a post on his social media account on the morning after the 100th anniversary of the Republic.

In his statement, Erdoğan did not use the term 'Atatürk', instead saying 'Gazi Mustafa Kemal'. 

Erdoğan also emphasized a new Constitution, stating, 'Our greatest goal in the coming period.'

Erdoğan's statement is as follows:

"As a cadre that has realized the dreams of Gazi Mustafa Kemal, we have entered the second century of our Republic with the vision of the Century of Türkiye. We are determined to carry our Republic into many more years in a much stronger, much more prosperous, and much more prestigious manner. Our greatest goal in the coming period is to save our democracy from the shame of a coup constitution and to provide it with a civilian, libertarian, and inclusive constitution worthy of the 100th anniversary of our Republic. As the children of a great nation whose history is full of unique victories, we are also determined to implement our Century of Türkiye vision.

On this historic day when we celebrate the 100th anniversary of our Republic, we declare to the whole world once again:

“No imperialist power will be able to stand in the way of the Republic of Türkiye being happy, successful, and triumphant.” As long as we continue to be one, to be big, to be alive, to be brothers, and to be Türkiye all together. As long as we do not compromise on our stance that we express by saying “one nation, one flag, one homeland, one state.” The rest will come with God's permission."
