Erdoğan speaks after cabinet meeting: Evaluates the process

The Presidential Cabinet Meeting held at the Ahlat Presidential Complex has concluded. Speaking after the meeting, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that critical topics concerning the country, primarily foreign policy, trade, security, and the "terror-free Turkey" process, were on the agenda.

Stating that they are making an intense effort to keep Turkey on the path of development and prosperity, Erdoğan expressed that they remain committed to the targets set in the fields of employment, exports, agriculture, and tourism.

Touching upon the effects of global and regional developments on the economy, Erdoğan stated that the Turkish economy continues on its path. Erdoğan said, "We are managing this painful period, in which we are experiencing a virtual storm of crises, without resorting to populism and by protecting the nation's resources with great care."

Erdoğan said that in foreign policy, Turkey acts with an understanding that prioritizes peace, justice, and stability in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, the Gulf, Africa, the Balkans, and the Caucasus.

Emphasizing regional peace, Erdoğan used the expression, "We have no purpose, goal, or aim other than peace, justice, stability, and tranquility throughout our entire region."

Erdoğan also stated that the effect of the Iran-US tension on the global economy will be seen more clearly over time, noting, "As the shock wave caused by the Iran-America tension in the global economy loses its effect over time, we will have the opportunity to see its reflections on daily life more clearly."
