Behind-the-scenes reports continue to emerge regarding the congress where AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will determine his A-Team.
ERDOĞAN TASKS 2 FIGURES
According to a report by the pro-government newspaper Türkiye Gazetesi, it is claimed that Erdoğan, who has pressed the button for a 'major change,' has tasked Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and AKP Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala.
"WE WILL WORK WITH YOU IN OTHER LANES"
On the other hand, it was noted that Erdoğan told some deputy chairmen, "We will work with you in other lanes," indicating that they would not be part of the new administration.
In this context, while a significant change is expected among the 18 members of the Central Executive Board (MYK), it is also suggested that the areas of responsibility for some names will be changed.
WILL THERE BE A TRANSITION FROM PARLIAMENT TO THE CABINET?
In AKP circles, it is being discussed that the possibility of a cabinet reshuffle being postponed until after the congress is increasing.
It is alleged that Erdoğan has not made any assessment with his staff regarding a cabinet change so far, but during a meeting, he said, "I am not considering taking names from Parliament to the cabinet."
AKP sources assessed that "in this case, the possibility of appointing ministers from among current members of parliament is almost non-existent."
