It has been learned that AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan told his party's Central Executive Board (MKYK) members regarding the fire tragedy in Bolu that claimed the lives of 78 citizens, "Whoever it may be, even if it is one of our own colleagues who is at fault, everyone will receive their punishment."
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan chaired his party's Central Decision and Administrative Board (MKYK) meeting yesterday (January 27).
The messages Erdoğan gave to his party executives during the meeting have emerged. According to information obtained from AKP sources, it was learned that regarding the hotel fire in Bolu Kartalkaya that claimed the lives of 78 citizens, Erdoğan said, "Whoever it may be, even if it is one of our own colleagues who is at fault, everyone will receive their punishment."
WHAT DID MINISTER ERSOY SAY?
Ministers also took the floor during the meeting in response to questions. It was learned that Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy stated that there is no mandatory period for fire safety inspections and that this must absolutely be regulated.
It was stated that Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç explained the entire chronological sequence of events in Kartalkaya. Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan stated that they have assigned 4 inspectors and are monitoring the process. It was also learned that AKP Group Chairman Abdullah Güler said they would submit a motion to open a Parliamentary Inquiry regarding the fire at the Kartalkaya Ski Center.
