Expenses for the Palace's foreign trips are being hidden from citizens! Evasive response from Cevdet Yılmaz to 'spending' question

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's expenses and personnel costs for his foreign trips continue to be hidden from citizens.

Democrat Party (DP) İzmir MP Salih Uzun shared the response he received to his question, "HOW MANY PEOPLE went on the President's trips to India and America? HOW MANY LIRA were spent?", in a post on his X (Twitter) account.

EVASIVE RESPONSE FROM CEVDET YILMAZ

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, who responded to Uzun's question months later, stated, "Enough personnel went."

Reacting to Yılmaz's evasive response, Uzun said, "The disrespect shown by Cevdet Yılmaz is not just to me, but to the parliament. It is a disrespect to the national will. It is a disrespect to the nation. We cannot accept this disrespectful writing as an 'answer'. We cannot digest this. We cannot swallow this. We cannot get used to this."

On behalf of all of us, I had asked

YILMAZ HAD GIVEN A SIMILAR ANSWER BEFORE

On the other hand, Cevdet Yılmaz had previously given a similar answer to CHP Ankara MP Aliye Ersever.

Ersever had asked how many planes were in the presidential fleet. Yılmaz had replied, "As many as the service requires."
