Famous pollster reveals the latest situation in Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir! '14 points ahead, already guaranteed...'

Turkey will head to the polls for local elections on March 31, 2024. Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir are among the cities most closely watched in these critical elections.

While mayoral candidates continue their election campaigns, public opinion research companies have also accelerated their polling efforts.

Most recently, Özer Sencar, founder of the Metropoll Research Company, made assessments regarding the latest situation in Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir.

"MANSUR YAVAŞ IS 14 POINTS AHEAD"

Sharing the results of the research they conducted 10 days ago in Ankara, Sencar said, "Mansur Yavaş is exactly 14 points ahead of AK Party candidate Turgut Altınok."

Speaking on Sözcü TV, Sencar made the following assessment:

"If other party candidates and the AK Party candidate cannot pull 10 points away from Mansur Yavaş, I am very confident that Ankara will remain with Mansur Yavaş."

"FOR ME TO SAY IMAMOĞLU WILL DEFINITELY WIN..."

Sencar stated that Ekrem İmamoğlu is ahead of his rival Murat Kurum in Istanbul. Sencar said, "For me to say that İmamoğlu will definitely win, he needs a lead of at least 5 points."

CEMIL TUGAY WILL WIN COMFORTABLY IN IZMIR

Stating that he does not see a problem for the CHP in Izmir, where the AKP nominated Hamza Dağ, Sencar said, "According to the polls we conducted, CHP candidate Cemil Tugay is winning comfortably in Izmir. I do not think that the CHP will vote for an imported candidate in Izmir."
