Fatih Erbakan presents his conditions to Erdoğan for support in Istanbul! He wants that name to be nominated

Turkey will head to the polls for local elections on March 31, 2024. The AKP aims to regain the metropolitan municipalities it lost in 2019, primarily Istanbul and Ankara.

As alliance negotiations between parties continue ahead of the local elections, journalist Şaban Sevinç shared the New Welfare Party's conditions for supporting the AKP for the IMM (Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality).

ERBAKAN WANTS TEVFİK GÖKSU

Accordingly, Erbakan wants to see Tevfik Göksu as the AKP's candidate for the IMM.

Şaban Sevinç also alleged that Fatih Erbakan demanded that either Sultanbeyli or Esenler be left to his party by the AKP.

In his post, Sevinç also claimed that Erbakan requested that 'certain important positions in the IMM' be given to his party if Göksu wins.

The post stated that if the New Welfare Party's relevant demands are not accepted, it will enter the election under its own name in the IMM and all districts.
