Ferhat Aydoğan, who was said to have been 'dealt with,' hosted at the Presidential Palace

Ferhat Aydoğan, the General President of the Ak Gençlik Ocakları, who was announced as arrested by Interior Minister Yerlikaya with the note "The necessary action has been taken" but was released within two months, has visited the Presidential Palace.

Aydoğan announced on his social media account that he met with Chief Presidential Advisor Oktay Saral, stating, "We visited the Chief Advisor to our President, Mr. Oktay Saral, at the Presidential Complex. We thank him for his kind acceptance and valuable conversation."

THEY HAD PRINTED FAKE CARDS

It had been revealed that the General President of the Ak Gençlik Ocakları, Ferhat Aydoğan, and Ergin Vançin, who introduced himself as Aydoğan's Chief of Staff, had printed fake cards in the name of the Ministry of Interior. It had become a matter of public debate that Aydoğan and Vançin were trying to create a protective shield for themselves using fake cards bearing the Ministry's logo.

Following the backlash, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya made a statement on July 12, 2024, under the headline "The necessary action has been taken," announcing that Aydoğan and Vançin had been arrested. Yerlikaya stated, "As a result of a tip-off shared on a social media platform on 11.07.2024, tagging our Ministry of Interior, it was determined that identification cards had been issued using the name of our Ministry of Interior."

Yerlikaya continued as follows:

"As a result of the work carried out by our Adana Provincial Police Department teams upon evaluating the tip-off, the suspects named E.V. and F.A., who was in the same vehicle, were caught with the cards in question. An investigation was launched by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the individuals for Attempted Qualified Fraud, Forgery of Documents, and Influence Peddling, and they were arrested by the court they were brought before. We will not allow those who commit fraud by using the names of state institutions and try to obtain privileges, nor criminal hubs and criminals, to breathe."

However, Aydoğan and Vançin were released from Adana Suluca Prison approximately two months later.
