Feti Yıldız denies claims regarding execution regulation
MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız rejected the words attributed to him regarding the execution regulation, and journalist Hilal Köylü published a correction for her report.
Feti Yıldız, one of the prominent figures of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), denied the statements attributed to him regarding the execution regulation expected to be submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, which suggested that it "should also cover KHK victims." Yıldız stated that he had made no such declaration.
In a statement he made via social media, Yıldız said, "I have not made any statement to any person or media outlet regarding the KHK. This fake news will be held accountable before the law.
The journalist has corrected the fake news by apologizing. This situation is a typical example of disinformation."
Journalist Hilal Köylü also stated in her correction, "Feti Yıldız did not make a statement regarding KHK victims.
A wrong impression was created due to a technical error. Please take the corrected version of the interview into account."
The incident began with a report published in Serbestiyet, which claimed that Yıldız had said the execution regulation should also cover KHK victims. However, these claims were denied and corrected by both Yıldız and Köylü.
