FETÖ crisis in the AKP: That name removed from the Central Executive Board
Zülal Nur Sevinç, a member of the AKP Women's Branch Central Executive Board, has been removed from her post due to a FETÖ investigation involving her husband.
At the AKP Women's Branch Grand Congress held on February 5, Istanbul Deputy Tuğba Işık Ercan took over the presidency from Düzce Deputy Ayşe Keşir. During the congress, the 75-member Central Decision and Administrative Board (MKYK) list was also renewed, and Ercan included some controversial names in the administration.
According to a report by Veli Toprak from Sözcü, one of these names, Zülal Nur Sevinç, was included on the list by Ercan, who stated, "I know her, I vouch for her."

However, after the congress, information reached the Headquarters that Sevinç's husband had undergone an investigation linked to FETÖ and that her husband's brother had been dismissed due to FETÖ.

Following these developments, the Headquarters decided to remove Sevinç from her membership on the Central Executive Board (MYK). This situation has drawn attention as one of the first crises of the new administration.
