First appearance by Meral Akşener in months! Spotted at a concert in Yenikapı
Meral Akşener, the Founding Chair of the İYİ Party who has stepped back from active politics, was seen at musician Sami Yusuf's concert in Yenikapı, Istanbul.
Sami Yusuf, who took the stage in Istanbul after a long hiatus, met with music lovers at the "Ecstasy: Between Two Seas" concert held at Festival Park Yenikapı.
Approximately 25 thousand people attended the event, which was organized in collaboration with Anadolu PSM, SİS Production, and Kalyon Ajans. Among those attending the concert was Meral Akşener, the Founding Chair of the İYİ Party.
Akşener was seen for the first time in months.
During the concert, Yusuf dedicated his piece "The Meeting," which he composed inspired by the words of Fuzuli, to Gaza. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to support humanitarian crises in Palestine and Gaza.
