It has been alleged that Adana Deputy Bilal Bilici, who announced his resignation from the İYİ Party, will join the Republican People's Party (CHP).

Sözcü columnist İsmail Saymaz used the following expressions regarding the subject in his column today:

"İYİ Party Adana Deputy Bilal Bilici resigned from his party the other day. The first information that reached me was that Bilici might switch to the AK Party. The fact that his father, Mehmet Ali Bilici, was a former AK Party deputy had brought this possibility to mind. However, my sources state that the probability of Bilici switching to the CHP is higher."

Bilal Bilici, who was elected as a deputy from Adana in the May 14 elections, had announced that he resigned from the İYİ Party.

In the statement he made two days ago, Bilici had used the following expressions: “I was elected as a deputy from the İYİ Party in the elections held in 2023. During the time that has passed, I have made every effort for our nation and our party. During the time I served as a member of the İYİ Party family, I made very valuable friends. I would like to thank everyone who served in the organizations without expecting anything in return, solely out of love for the homeland, especially my fellow citizens from Adana who voted for the İYİ Party, for their support. At the point we have reached, I state that I am resigning because I will not be able to be useful under this roof.”
