Following the 'Table of Six', a 'Table of Five' is formed: Named the 'Salvation Alliance'

According to the statement made on behalf of the Salvation Alliance, the ATA Party, chaired by Namık Kemal Zeybek; the Doğru Party, chaired by Rifat Serdaroğlu; the Yurt Party, chaired by Sadettin Tantan; the Justice Party, chaired by Vecdet Öz; and the Nationalist Turkey Party, chaired by Ahmet Yılmaz, have decided to establish the "Salvation Alliance".

Nationalist Turkey Party Chairman Ahmet Yılmaz has been appointed as the spokesperson for the alliance.

CALL FOR A PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM

The following was noted in the joint declaration issued by the five political party leaders:

"In order for our nation and our state to be saved from the problems they have fallen into or have been pushed into, and for a happy and peaceful Turkey, we, whose names and signatures are below, have decided to act together under the name of the Salvation Alliance, while maintaining our institutional identities, based on the main principle that 'If the subject is the homeland, the rest is detail' regarding core issues. We invite all individuals and institutions that have no issues with the Turkish identity and Atatürk, and who are committed to the values of the Republic, to take part in our struggle for justice and democracy.

Our priorities will be to restore the sovereign rights of our nation—which have been usurped by the Law on Political Parties and Election Laws—to our nation, to return to a parliamentary democratic system, to re-establish an environment of trust based on the rule of law on the foundation of justice and democracy, to ensure border security and prevent the entry of illegal migrants and refugees, to rapidly repatriate the illegal migrants and refugees currently in our country, and to combat anti-Republican and anti-secular centers, as well as all separatist ideas and structures. Our policies on main issues such as justice, law, economy, education, health, agriculture, nature, environment, international relations, and national security will be announced separately in due course."
