Footage crisis! Investigation launched into those who recorded at the İmamoğlu hearing
After footage taken during the hearing of the 'Akın Gürlek' case involving Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and CHP presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was arrested on March 19, was circulated to the public, the Silivri Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an ex officio investigation into the individuals who recorded the footage.
The hearing for the 'Akın Gürlek' case involving CHP's imprisoned presidential candidate and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu was held yesterday. A video of İmamoğlu greeting those in attendance during the hearing was circulated to the public. This marks the first time in months that İmamoğlu has been clearly captured on camera.

INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED
According to the Sabah newspaper; the Silivri Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an ex officio investigation into the person or persons who recorded or transmitted audio and video of İmamoğlu during yesterday's hearing.
