The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reacted to a social media post by Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz targeting President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the post by Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz targeting the President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as a "futile effort to change the agenda."
In a written statement, the Ministry stated, "The disrespectful tone and baseless accusations of Israeli Foreign Minister Katz toward our President are a futile effort to change the agenda regarding the crimes Israel has committed in Palestine."
The statement, which noted that Israel has killed nearly 40 thousand Palestinians since October 2023, added, "It is the Netanyahu government that barbarically massacred dozens of innocent Palestinians in an attack on a tent camp last night.
