Former CHP Bursa deputy Prof. Dr. Lale Karabıyık has passed away at the age of 59 in the hospital where she had been receiving treatment for some time.
Former Republican People's Party (CHP) Bursa deputy Prof. Dr. Lale Karabıyık has passed away at the age of 59 in the hospital where she was receiving treatment.
The first memorial ceremony for Prof. Dr. Karabıyık will be held tomorrow at 10:00 at Uludağ University.
Following the ceremony, the funeral prayer will be held at the Bursa Grand Mosque (Ulu Cami) at noon. Karabıyık will subsequently be laid to rest in her hometown of Bilecik.
Karabıyık entered Parliament as a CHP Bursa deputy in 2015 and served in this role for three terms.
