Former minister and AKP founder passes away
Retired diplomat Yaşar Yakış, one of the founding members of the AKP and the party's first Minister of Foreign Affairs, has passed away.
AKP founding member and the party's first Minister of Foreign Affairs, retired diplomat Yaşar Yakış, has passed away at the age of 85 in the hospital where he was receiving treatment.
The former diplomat, Yakış, served as the first foreign minister of the AKP government established in 2002.
