240 summaries of proceedings against 61 CHP deputies in the Turkish Parliament: The Serap Özbudun detail

CHP Group Deputy Chairman Gökhan Günaydın announced the development on the social media platform X and expressed his reaction.

In his post, Gökhan Günaydın stated, "The presidential memorandum regarding the lifting of legislative immunity for 240 files concerning 61 of the 135 deputies of Turkey's leading party, the CHP, is in the TBMM."

Reminding in his statement that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is also the "Chairman of the AKP, which is Turkey's second party," Günaydın criticized this situation and continued his remarks by saying, "The established order is magnificent, isn't it?"

In the information note provided by Günaydın, one of the names listed as a signatory on the presidential memorandum was Serap Yazıcı Özbudun, who entered Parliament from the CHP lists in the 2023 elections but subsequently moved to the AKP benches.
