7 governors were reassigned to the central government: A striking detail regarding Süleyman Soylu! 'All three are from Trabzon'

With a decision published in the Official Gazette, seven governors were recalled to the center, and 12 governors were reassigned to new posts. Regarding this decree, journalist İsmail Saymaz pointed out a striking detail, raising the possibility that the recall of three individuals from Trabzon could be linked to Süleyman Soylu.

ALLEGATIONS OF CLOSENESS TO SÜLEYMAN SOYLU

Saymaz stated the following regarding the three individuals recalled to the center by the decree: "Eskişehir Governor Hüseyin Aksoy is a very veteran name who began his governorship before the AK Party. Aksaray Governor Mehmet Ali Kumbuzoğlu is a governor whose name is mentioned in festivals. Another name is Trabzon Governor Aziz Yıldırım."

Saymaz drew attention to the fact that the governors of Aksaray, Eskişehir, and Trabzon share the common trait of being from Trabzon, saying, "These three names stand out for being from Trabzon." He then added, "One of the seven governors recalled to the center is already the Yalova Governor. If we set him aside, it is striking that three of the remaining six governors are from Trabzon," he said, relaying the commentary.

Saymaz expressed that there are views suggesting that the fact these three individuals are from Trabzon evokes a closeness to Süleyman Soylu: “Being from Trabzon gives rise to interpretations that there could be a connection to Süleyman Soylu. However, it is noted that the reasons for their recall are not solely related to them being from Trabzon, though this factor may influence the interpretations.”

The journalist relayed comments suggesting that this regional bond might imply closeness to Soylu, stating, "This situation might lead one to think that a regional bond could mean closeness to Soylu."

ATTENTION DRAWN TO ISIS OPERATION AND YALOVA GOVERNOR

One of the changes included in the decree was the recall of the Yalova Governor to the center. The fact that the Yalova Governor was removed from office following allegations of weakness in an ISIS operation drew attention. This development also stood out as part of the discussions surrounding the background of the gubernatorial changes.

Saymaz stated that the recall of the three individuals from Trabzon was not due to them "being from Trabzon," but that this characteristic was influential in the interpretations made:

"The fact that the three names are from Trabzon opens the door to interpretations that they might be close to Süleyman Soylu. However, this is not the only reason for their recall, but merely a factor that gives rise to such interpretations."
