AKP continues to lose ground! Voters are turning to CHP
According to the May 2025 poll by Yöneylem Research, the CHP has risen to the position of the leading party with 36.5 percent of the vote. The decline in the AKP continues. The AKP's vote share, which was 32.5 percent in April, fell to 31 percent in May.
Yöneylem Research has shared the results of its Turkey Political Research with the public.
Participants were asked the question: "If there were a parliamentary election this Sunday, which party would you vote for?"
In the poll conducted between May 19-22 with 2,004 people using the CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing) method, the results before the distribution of undecided voters were as follows:
CHP 30.8 percent
AKP 26.1 percent
MHP 6.7 percent
İYİ Party 3.3 percent
DEM Party 7.6 percent
YRP 2.7 percent
Zafer Party 3 percent
TİP 1.1 percent
Other 3.1 percent
Undecided 10.3 percent
Will not vote 5.3 percent
CHP IS THE LEADING PARTY
After the distribution of undecided voters, it was observed that the CHP is the leading party with 36.5 percent.
While the AKP's electoral support stood at 31 percent, the rate of those saying they would "vote for" the DEM Party was 9 percent, and the rate for the MHP was 8 percent.
The other parties were ranked as follows:
İYİ Party 3.9 percent
Zafer Party 3.6 percent
YRP 3.2 percent
TİP 1.3 percent
Other 3.5 percent
AKP CONTINUES TO MELT AWAY
In Yöneylem's April poll, it was observed that the only significant change was in the AKP.
The AKP, which was at the 32.5 percent level in the April poll, fell to 31 percent.
