Allegations of a rift in the AKP after the congress: A fight between the old guard and the newcomers?

According to a report by Cumhuriyet, the inclusion of figures in the administration who have no history within the AKP and were transferred from opposition parties has disturbed many party members.

Some party members, who described the new staff as a "so-called new administration formed with transfers from the opposition," expressed their belief that this situation would also create a negative impression among voters.

Referring to the words of President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan before the congress, "We will rest those who do not work," party sources criticized the situation, saying, "Names who have never put in any effort for the party have now become administrators."

It is being discussed that this unrest within the party could turn into a new conflict following the congress.
