AREA Research has shared the results of its "January 2025 - Turkey Political Agenda Survey." In the survey, which was conducted between January 22-24, 2025, with a total of 2,022 people aged 18 and over in 26 provinces, citizens were asked numerous questions such as 'whether they find the Presidential Government System successful,' 'the operations carried out against CHP-run municipalities,' and 'the government's economic policies.'

PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM NOT FOUND SUCCESSFUL

Citizens' response to the question "Do you find the 'Presidential Government System' successful?" was 'negative.' While the rate of those who find the system "successful" was 36.2 percent, the rate of those who find it "unsuccessful" was 60.1 percent, and the rate of those who did not express an opinion was 3.7 percent.

DEM PARTY'S ÖCALAN MEETING

In the survey, 67.1 percent of citizens stated that they viewed the DEM Party's meeting with Öcalan in İmralı 'negatively.' The rate of those who viewed the DEM Party delegation's meeting with Abdullah Öcalan in İmralı "positively" was 26.9 percent, and the rate of those who viewed it "negatively" was 67.1 percent. THE GAP BETWEEN AKP AND CHP IS VERY SMALL!

In the election survey within the research, participants were also asked the question, "If there were a parliamentary election today, which party would you vote for?"

When the "distribution over total voters" was calculated, the AKP ranked first with 22.9 points, and the CHP ranked second with 22.7 points.

When the "distribution over valid votes" was calculated, the AKP's score was 29.3 percent, and the CHP's score was 29.1 percent.
