An important claim has emerged regarding the CHP convention process and the subsequent lawsuit filed.

CLAIM THAT A MESSAGE WAS SENT TO KILIÇDAROĞLU

According to a report published by Nevşin Mengü in recent days—which she later defended by stating, "I stand by my story"—the prosecutor's office handling the case regarding the CHP Convention sent a private message to former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.

In this message, it was reportedly conveyed that if Kılıçdaroğlu were to state in his testimony that "no corruption took place at the convention and I am not a victim," the file would be closed.

''IF HE GIVES A STATEMENT, THE PROCESS WILL END, BUT HE IS NOT GOING''

Mengü stated that despite this call, Kılıçdaroğlu has not gone to give a statement. Fatih Altaylı supported Mengü today, who had been subjected to severe insults on social media following the publication of the report.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Altaylı argued that the judicial process regarding the CHP convention is directly related to Kılıçdaroğlu's attitude. Altaylı said the following:

“Kılıçdaroğlu could have neutralized a napalm bomb that the AKP or others wanted to leave inside the CHP. If he had gone to the prosecutor's office and said, 'There is no corruption here, I organized this convention, and I have no testimony to support the allegations,' the matter would have been closed. But he is not doing this.”

Emphasizing that Kılıçdaroğlu is prolonging the process, leaving the party in further uncertainty and muddying the waters, Altaylı said, “Kılıçdaroğlu is stalling. He is turning the matter into a political polemic by saying, ‘I will not go; if there is corruption, call Erdoğan.’ Yet, if he had just gone and given a statement, this matter would have been closed long ago.”
