As the National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission established in the Turkish Grand National Assembly approaches critical stages of the resolution process, political maneuvering behind the scenes has rapidly intensified.

In the new process initiated under the leadership of MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, it is being discussed in political circles that the AKP is avoiding the responsibility of managing the process. It is claimed that the MHP has been left alone to explain the resolution process to the public and ensure its success.

AKP'S INSUFFICIENT ASSUMPTION OF RESPONSIBILITY IS BEING DEBATED

According to a report by Ceren Bayar from T24, it is alleged that the names of individuals who want the process to end in failure are being mentioned in the corridors, and that the AKP is not taking sufficient responsibility in the process and is attempting to steer it in another direction through operations targeting the CHP.

It is stated that the AKP has left the entire burden of introducing the resolution process to the public on the MHP.

The negative effects of developments in Syria on the resolution process are also being discussed. Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan's harsh statements regarding the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), his threatening rhetoric toward the YPG, and signals of operations toward northern Syria have caused discomfort within the DEM Party.

Fidan's statements are interpreted as being contrary to the spirit of the process and are complicating the chances of the process's success.
