The National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission, established in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey as part of the process for a Turkey without terrorism, held its 19th meeting. The commission met for the first time following the visit to İmralı Prison.

“RETURN HOME” REGULATION IN THE REPORT

AKP Deputy Chairman and Commission Member Mustafa Şen announced that the report the AKP will present to the commission will include regulations regarding a “return home” law for members of the terrorist organization PKK.

Şen stated that the regulation prepared by the party will distinguish between those who have been involved in crimes and those who have not. It was noted that a 5-year judicial monitoring requirement would also be introduced for those who may benefit from the regulation.
