In his statement on the matter, Bilal Erdoğan noted that being by his father's side during the election campaign was not just a duty, but also an enjoyable experience. "My family wanted me to be by my father's side. I had spent about 2 months with him. This was a great responsibility for me as a son. Providing security for my father and being by his side was an important task," he said.

HOW IS ERDOĞAN'S HEALTH?

Bilal Erdoğan also emphasized that they take a series of cautious approaches regarding his father's health and security. He stated that it is the family's responsibility to monitor the President's blood sugar, health status, and the foods he craves. "Some people cannot say 'no' to our President. As his son, I need to pay attention to this. I can say, 'If you don't want this, that would be more appropriate instead.' I can take that risk," he added.

Erdoğan emphasized that they took care to ensure that the food and drinks offered to his father during the election campaign were always healthy and safe. "When something is offered to our President, people want to send things from their homes. However, our President also wants to accept this without question. This carries a very great risk. It is not a situation that can be easily accepted for a person at such a level," he expressed.
