It was claimed that there was bad blood between them: A move from Bülent Turan regarding Ali Yerlikaya

Among the appointment changes that took place overnight by the decision of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan were the deputy ministers at the Ministry of Interior.

According to the decision, Münir Karaloğlu, Mehmet Aktaş, and Mehmet Sağlam, who were known to have worked incompatibly with former minister Ali Yerlikaya, were removed from their posts. Ali Çelik, Kübra Güran Yiğitbaşı, and Mehmet Cangir were appointed in their place.

Bülent Turan, whose incompatibility with Ali Yerlikaya at the Ministry of Interior was well-known, continued to remain in his post following these appointments. Immediately after the appointment decisions, Turan expressed his gratitude to President Erdoğan in a statement he made on social media.

Turan used the following expressions in his statement:

"I express my gratitude to our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, for giving me the opportunity to serve our Dear Nation once again under the roof of the Ministry of Interior. I also sincerely congratulate our new deputy ministers, with whom we will work together and who, I hope, will demonstrate great effort under the leadership of our esteemed minister Mustafa Çiftçi. May the Almighty grant us the ability to fulfill the duties we have undertaken."

Another element that drew attention in Turan's statement was that no mention was made of the former deputy ministers who were dismissed or of Ali Yerlikaya.

Turan did not make any assessment regarding these names, but only congratulated the new deputy ministers.
