Latest election poll released: Mansur Yavaş by a wide margin, CHP leads by a hair
In the November 'Pulse of Turkey' research conducted by Metropoll Research Company, the responses to the question 'If an election were held this Sunday, who would you vote for?' were announced. When undecided voters are distributed, the CHP receives 30.3 percent of the vote, while the AKP receives 30 percent. Additionally, in a poll regarding presidential candidates, Mansur Yavaş emerged as the most preferred name as the CHP's presidential candidate.
Metropoll Research has announced the results of its 'Pulse of Turkey' survey for November.
Without distributing undecided voters, the CHP receives 20.02 percent of the vote. The AK Party's vote share is 20 percent.
In the survey, the responses to the question 'Who would you vote for if an election were held this Sunday?' are as follows 'when undecided voters are distributed':
CHP: 30.3 percent
AKP: 30 percent
DEM Party: 9.8 percent
MHP: 7.6 percent
İYİ Party: 6 percent
The CHP receives 20.02 percent of the vote in conditions where undecided, protest, and non-responsive votes are not distributed.
The AKP follows behind the CHP with 20 percent.
The DEM Party receives 6.5 percent of the vote. The MHP ranks fourth with 5.1 percent of the vote.
The MHP is followed by the İYİ Party with 4 percent. A notable aspect of the research is that protest votes appear at 16.3 percent and undecided votes at 12 percent.
PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE DRAWS ATTENTION
Another question posed in the research concerned the presidential candidate. According to the report by Emirhah Çoban from Cumhuriyet, 37.8 percent of citizens asked "Who should be the CHP's presidential candidate?" named Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş.
While Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu received 21.6 percent, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel received 7.4 percent.
In questions regarding the approval ratings of politicians, Yavaş and İmamoğlu also ranked ahead of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
While Mansur Yavaş received a positive rating from 63.5 percent of citizens, Ekrem İmamoğlu received a positive rating from 48.7 percent of participants. Erdoğan, on the other hand, could only achieve a 40 percent positive impression.
