Lien placed on Kılıçdaroğlu's assets: He paid 10 thousand TL less
A lien has been placed on some of former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's real estate assets due to a difference of approximately 10 thousand TL in a compensation lawsuit filed by TÜGVA. His lawyers have appealed the decision.
An enforcement process has been initiated in the compensation lawsuit filed against former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu by the Turkey Youth Foundation (TÜGVA), known for its proximity to the AKP.
A lien was placed on Kılıçdaroğlu's assets as part of the lawsuit filed due to his statements regarding the foundation.
LOCAL COURT HAD RULED 30 THOUSAND TL
During the legal process, the local court had ruled that Kılıçdaroğlu should pay 30 thousand TL in compensation to TÜGVA. Following this decision, the file was moved to the appellate court.
HE MADE A PAYMENT OF 58 THOUSAND TL
It was stated that Kılıçdaroğlu made a total payment of 58 thousand TL after the decision, calculating potential interest as well.
AMOUNT INCREASED AFTER APPEAL
According to the report by Gazete Pano, after the appellate court rejected the application, the compensation amount exceeded 70 thousand TL including interest. A lien request was filed by TÜGVA on the grounds that there was an underpayment of approximately 10 thousand TL.
Upon this request, it was reported that a lien procedure was applied to some of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's real estate properties.
LAWYERS APPEALED
It was learned that Kılıçdaroğlu's lawyers have appealed the lien decision and the legal process is ongoing.
