The protocol, realized through the initiative of Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu, who resigned from the CHP to join the AKP, has formalized cooperation between the two municipalities.
THE FIRST STEP WAS TAKEN WITH THE ALLOCATION OF A FUNERAL VEHICLE
Within the scope of the protocol, the first joint implementation between the two cities will be the allocation of a funeral vehicle by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality to the Aydın Metropolitan Municipality. Thus, a concrete step in the sister city relationship has been taken.
PROTOCOL DECISION PASSED THE COUNCIL UNANIMOUSLY
According to information reported by Mustafa Bildircin from BirGün, the Konya Metropolitan Municipality Council placed the "proposal regarding the signing of a protocol between the Aydın Metropolitan Municipality and the authorization of the Presidential Office for the signing and execution of the protocol" on its agenda.
The proposal was accepted unanimously by the Municipal Council. In line with this decision, the creation of a joint service protocol for the Konya Metropolitan Municipality to allocate a funeral vehicle to the Aydın Metropolitan Municipality was approved.
