Resignations follow one after another in CHP! They have lost their parliamentary majority

In the council, while 18 of the 37 total members remain with the CHP, the CHP has lost its parliamentary majority against the AKP, MHP, and independent members, who have reached 19 members.
RESIGNATIONS BEGAN LAST WEEK
Ali Karahasanoğlu and Sami Teker from the CHP had resigned from the party last week. In a statement made by the party, it was stated that the two council members had been acting inconsistently with party principles for a long time and that a disciplinary process had been initiated against them.
DEPUTY MAYOR HAD JOINED THE AKP
Özlem Vural Gürzel, who was elected as Deputy Mayor following the arrest of Beykoz Mayor Alaattin Köseler, had also joined the AKP.
Teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Financial Crimes Branch had conducted an operation at the Bayrampaşa Municipality on Saturday, September 13.
During the operation, 48 people were detained, including Bayrampaşa Mayor Hasan Mutlu, Deputy Mayors Atilla Özen, Hakan Baş, Lütfi Kadıoğulları, Gündüz Kalkan, and Legal Affairs Manager Bilgehan Yağcı.
