Semih Yalçın joins Bahçeli's 'Öcalan' call: 'Everyone should watch their step'

MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın emphasized that Bahçeli's statements should not be perceived as a concession to terrorism.

'THIS IS NOT A CONCESSION'

Speaking at the "One and Together Towards the Crescent Turkey Meeting," Yalçın evaluated Bahçeli's call as "a call for a party that supposedly engages in politics under the roof of Parliament to cease being a subcontractor of imperialism."

Yalçın stated, "This is a warning to clarify one's side and position, and to make one's friends and enemies known. It is a recommendation to completely sever ties with the PKK, the mine donkey of the USA, and to become a party of Turkey."

'THE PEOPLE'S ALLIANCE WILL SOLVE THIS'

Drawing attention to the importance of Bahçeli's call, Yalçın said, "There is no joking about this matter. There are serious issues behind our Chairman making this proposal that no one else could say. When the People's Alliance accomplishes this, the fight against terrorism will end completely after 40 years, the economy will improve, and jobs will be provided to the unemployed."

EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH THEIR STEP

Pointing to the determination of the People's Alliance, Yalçın said, "Everyone should watch their step in this process. Many positive developments will be achieved, from the increase in retiree and employee salaries to the end of unemployment."

Bahçeli's Öcalan remarks at the parliamentary podium and Yalçın's statements continue to find wide resonance on Turkey's agenda.
