Striking result in the latest poll! The gap has widened
According to Sonar Research's new general election poll, the CHP has increased its vote share to 36.8 percent, placing it ahead of the AKP. The AKP received 30.8 percent of the vote, with the gap between them widening to 6 points. The DEM Party is in third place.
Following the detention of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and CHP presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was arrested on March 19, Sonar Research conducted an election poll that found the CHP to be the leading party with 36.6 percent.
Sonar Research, which made the most accurate predictions in the March 31 Local Elections, has conducted a new general election poll.
CHP WIDENS THE GAP
In the poll, participants were asked, 'If a general election were held today, which political party would you vote for?' It was noted that the gap between the CHP and the AKP is steadily widening.
6 POINTS AHEAD OF THE AKP
36.8 percent of participants stated they would vote for the CHP. The AKP's vote share was 30.8 percent. The difference between the two parties was measured at 6 points.
DEM IS THE THIRD PARTY
Meanwhile, the DEM Party is in the position of the third party with a vote share of 10.7 percent. The MHP ranked fourth with 6.8 percent. The IYI Party received 6.2 percent, the Victory Party (Zafer Partisi) 4.1 percent, and the New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) 2.9 percent. Others accounted for 1.7 percent.
