Journalist Can Ataklı shared claims circulating intensely in Ankara's political circles during a broadcast on his YouTube channel. According to the claims, President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is preparing to replace the entire cabinet, with the exception of a few ministers.

It was suggested that this change would not be limited to names alone, but that structural transformations could also be on the agenda.

Ataklı stated, "Erdoğan most recently went to his palace in Marmaris during the holiday. He thought about it for a long time there. The decision for a cabinet reshuffle seems largely finalized. Ankara is talking about this. Almost everyone will be replaced, except for a few ministers."

"HE WANTED TO CHANGE IT BUT CHANGED HIS MIND"

According to Ataklı, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek could have been one of the names expected to be part of Erdoğan's change plan. However, it was stated that this decision was suspended due to recent international developments:

"Perhaps he was going to replace Mehmet Şimşek right at that moment, but the Iran-Israel tension erupted. Turkey needs hot money. For this reason, there is no chance to replace Şimşek for now."

ERDOĞAN MAY DELEGATE SOME OF HIS POWERS

Another point Ataklı drew attention to was the possibility of Erdoğan waiving some of his powers. According to this scenario, Erdoğan might choose to step into the background to overcome the system's gridlock and ensure more effective governance.

While noting that Turkey has reached a critical threshold in both domestic and foreign policy, Ataklı expressed that this process could also lead to developments in Erdoğan's favor.

At this point, he claimed that the declaration of a possible State of Emergency (OHAL) is also on the agenda, stating the following:

"With the declaration of a State of Emergency, law and democracy could be completely shelved. In such a situation, Erdoğan could make current practices legal by basing them on the constitution. However, on the other hand, he could also go for a softening in the system by delegating some of his powers with the thought of 'let me get through this trouble with the least amount of damage'."
