When will Öcalan make his call? Selvi provides a date

Hürriyet columnist Abdulkadir Selvi addressed the question 'When will Öcalan make his call?' in his column today.

Stating in his article, "It is not expected to be delayed much. A call is being discussed for the end of January or within the month of February," Selvi made the following assessments regarding the process:

WHEN WILL ÖCALAN MAKE HIS CALL?

"The DEM delegation has completed its meetings with political parties. They met with Selahattin Demirtaş in Edirne. Strong support for the process came from Demirtaş. The DEM delegation is expected to go to İmralı again in the near future. I do not think it will be left until the end of January."

WHO DID THE DEM PARTY MEET WITH?

The delegation also met with former HDP co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ, who is imprisoned in Kocaeli Kandıra Prison, on Sunday, January 12. The delegation had also gone to Edirne on Saturday to visit Demirtaş.

The DEM Party delegation consists of Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Van MP Pervin Buldan, and Ahmet Türk, the Mayor of Mardin Metropolitan Municipality who was removed from office and replaced by a government-appointed trustee.

MEETING WITH ÖCALAN

Within the scope of the process that began with MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's call in October, Pervin Buldan and Sırrı Süreyya Önder met with Abdullah Öcalan on December 28.
