Eyüp Akbaş, the party's Menderes District Chair, has been appointed as the new İzmir Provincial Chair in place of Beyazgül.

It has been learned that Gelecek Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu initiated a disciplinary process against Yaşar Beyazgül on July 24, 2025, upon receiving information regarding him.
