Groundbreaking analysis from Sadık Usta: "They legitimize attacks using the term 'regime'"

Historian and author Sadık Usta explained with striking examples how the language used by Western powers in their Middle East policies prepares a "ground for legitimacy" before military interventions. Speaking on 12punto, Usta emphasized that concepts such as "Mullah Regime" and "Assad Regime" are not coincidental, but are part of a conscious ideological hegemony.

"REGIME" IS A LABELING TOOL

Sadık Usta stated that Western countries use the word "regime" before attacking a country to make it appear as though they are targeting only the form of government rather than the people. Usta used the following expressions:

"By saying 'Mullah Regime,' they are actually preparing legitimacy for their attacks. Trump and Western countries, including Israel, use this term before their attacks to claim that they are conducting activities directed only at a structure, not at the Iranian people or the country itself."

"THEY DESTROYED SYRIA"

Reminding that the same strategy was applied to Syria, Usta stated that the holistic structure of Syria was targeted with the "Assad Regime" rhetoric and that the country was subjected to great destruction. Arguing that the word "regime" is a form of coding and labeling, the author maintained that these concepts are chosen to exert cultural and ideological pressure on the masses.

A WARNING TO SECULAR CIRCLES

Usta issued a call to secular circles in Turkey, stating that they are falling into this trap without realizing it:

"Secular circles need to abandon these terms. By saying 'Mullah Regime,' they are actually entering the service of them (Western powers). This symbolic language is used to create dominance over the masses."
