The Köklü Değişim group, known for calling for the Caliphate at its events in Istanbul, is preparing for a notable march, citing the war in Gaza and Turkey's trade relations with Israel as reasons. The group has decided to march from the AKP Headquarters to the Presidential Complex on Sunday, July 27.

In a statement issued by Köklü Değişim, the purpose of the march was expressed as "speaking the word to the addressee." The announcement, made via their social media accounts and website, emphasized that "Muslims have been left alone in the face of the siege and massacre that has been ongoing in Gaza for nearly two years."

CRITICISM FOR NOT HALTING TRADE

The group's recent moves are being interpreted alongside the growing conservative backlash against the government's relations with Israel. Trade documents published after the government's claims that "trade with Israel has been stopped" had caused unease among conservative circles. Following the emergence of these documents, the government's sincerity began to be questioned in comments made on social media.

Köklü Değişim has adopted these criticisms and announced its call for a march.

CALIPHATE CONFERENCES AND SLOGANS IN ISTANBUL

The Köklü Değişim group had previously come to the public's attention with calls for the Caliphate at events it organized in Istanbul. At a conference titled "Building the Future with the Caliphate from Istanbul to Jerusalem," it was stated that "The abolition of the Caliphate is one of the greatest disasters to befall the Ummah."

At these conferences, Tawhid flags were unfurled, and slogans defending the Caliphate were chanted. It was also noted that banners reading "Armies to Al-Aqsa, Mehmetçik to Gaza" were carried during the group's marches and rallies.

MARCH PROGRAM ANNOUNCED

Details of the march to be held on Sunday, July 27, were also shared on the group's official website and social media accounts. It was stated that the event, announced with the slogan "We are marching for Gaza," would begin in front of the AKP Headquarters in the morning and end in front of the Presidential Complex.
