Kırmızı Kedi Publishing owner Haluk Hepkon shared a post on his social media account regarding the decision implemented by the Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality, which banned certain books belonging to Kırmızı Kedi Publishing from being placed on stands at the 6th Eastern Anatolia Erzurum Book Fair, which is set to open on May 17.

Hepkon used the following expressions in his post:
“With the highly debated 'Influence Agent' regulation, the way is being paved for 'witch hunts' against journalists who think differently from the government. The censorship applied to Kırmızı Kedi's journalist authors at the Erzurum Book Fair is not only terrifying but also a first.
